I really enjoyed getting involved with Lancaster Music Festival this weekend! On Saturday I did a solo set to a packed out Robert Gillow, and it was awesome to see so many familiar faces there, I really love it when people come out to listen and enjoy live music – very reassuing for the local arts scene!! On Sunday evening I played with Counting Days (Or Counting Daisies as we were written in the program!) and we got The Taphouse really pumping with some joint vocals from the very talented, Beth Jones. As well as performing two gigs, I also got to watch some other fantastic live music across the weekend in the great city of Lancaster. We watched The Feud rock out at Lancaster Castle, Jeremiah Ferrari got everyone dancing at The Bobbin, Sensory Hoverload (who flew all the way from New Jersey!) funked up the Wagon & Horses, and new band – The Black Eyes Suzies threw a great set at the Robert Gillow. I already can’t wait until next year!
Here’s a video of everyone joining me for a rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” at The Robert Gillow on Saturday:
